JUST MEN!
I come from a world of men, Not perfect men, Not broken men. Just MEN!!

I come from a world where boys are told at five, “Don’t cry, be strong,”
and the same boys grow up to become men who don’t know how to ask for help.
I come from a world where a man is expected to earn like Mukesh Ambani,
but spend like he’s still living in a hostel.
I come from a world where men hold doors for others,
but can’t open the doors of their own hearts.
I come from a world where men will work 14 hours a day to feed their families,
but won’t take 14 minutes to feed their own emotions.
I come from a world where a father pays everyone’s fees, bills, taxes, happiness…
and yet he is called “emotionally unavailable.”
I come from a world where men promise to protect everyone around them,
but no one asks who protects them.
I come from a world where a man’s anger is called “aggression,”
but his silence is called “attitude,” and his tears… are called “weakness.”
I come from a world where men lose hair early,
but gain responsibilities too soon.
I come from a world where men laugh loudly with friends at night,
but stare at ceilings alone at 3 AM.
I come from a world where men are expected to propose, pay, plan, pursue, protect
and still apologize first.
I come from a world where men gift gold on anniversaries,
but never receive even a thank you on their own birthdays.
I come from a world where a son is the “pillar of the house,”
until the house collapses… and then he is blamed for not holding it strong enough.
I come from a world where men are asked to “man up,”
but never asked,“Are you okay?”
I come from a world where men fight wars outside,
and even bigger wars inside.
I come from a world where men are superheroes in movies,
but side characters in real conversations.
I come from a world where men love deeply, loudly, fiercely,
but are remembered only silently.
I come from a world where men write long messages,
type them with courage, and erase them with fear.
I come from a world where men walk beside us
not in front, not behind but somehow are always told, “Do more.”
I come from a world where a man breaks down once a year
and then apologises for breaking.
I come from a world where society says, “Be strong,”
but never says, “You don’t always have to be.”
I come from a world where men look tough on the outside,
but inside…
They are just boys who grew up too fast.
So on this Men’s Day, I go back to that world of men.
Which world do I return to? All of it.
Which world am I proud of? The one where men feel.
Which world is proud of men? Hopefully… someday, all of them.
Because today is not about celebrating perfect men. It’s about finally seeing the real ones.

Here’s to the men who show strength in kindness.
